NGF Partnerships

Naqaqa Giving Foundation partners with organizations and donors who share its mission to help Fijians in remote villages, providing the local staff, infrastructure, and logistics to turn outside support into real, on-the-ground impact. From building community halls to distributing clean water filters and fishing equipment, these partnerships have taken many forms over the years.

Naqaqa Giving Foundation (NGF) has years of experience completing meaningful projects in Fiji.

If you are interested in helping people in Fiji, and if your goals complement ours (providing direct assistance to Fijians living in remote villages), perhaps we can form a partnership. NGF has staff, resources, and infrastructure to manage operations and logistics in Fiji, working with individual donors, other foundations, charities, or businesses for the benefit of people in Fiji.

If you want a team of experts to enable you to achieve your goals, please contact us by email info@fijicharity.org

A few of our successful partnerships:

CAUKIN Studio is a team of architects who organize volunteers to come to Fiji, design and build structures that serve village communities. These buildings have included a community hall and a kindergarten, with more buildings in development. NGF made the arrangements in Fiji, such as hosting of volunteers, building materials, permits, partners, sites, and funding.

Animals Fiji is a charity working to provide excellent animal care in Fiji. NGF provides a clinic space rent-free in Savusavu to enable the region to have access to a vet. Animals Fiji treat thousands of animals a year and greatly reduce needless suffering in animals.

Let Them Fish is a New Zealand charitable organization that collects used fishing equipment in New Zealand and ships it to Fiji and other countries in the South Pacific. NGF has received multiple shipments containing a wide range of fishing equipment, distributing the donated items to those most in need who can make best use of those particular items. Let Them Fish also teach sustainable fishing practices as these useful donations are distributed.

Give Clean Water has worked with NGF to help distribute SAWYER water filters and water storage to villages and settlements in Cakaudrove. Clean drinking water greatly increases village productivity, reducing sickness and increasing days farming, days at school, days at work.

The L.T. Murray Family Foundation wanted to help people in Fiji impacted by Tropical Cyclone Winston. NGF converted a donation into clean drinking water for thousands of people who otherwise had irregular access to water and that water was often contaminated. NGF has worked with The L.T. Murray Family Foundation to provide free squash lessons to local children in Savusavu, allowing local children to represent their nation overseas, and provided funding for a new roof for a kindergarten.
